FindLaw is a legal portal. It offers case law, consumer and business content and a lawyer directory, among other information sources and services. According to Alexa, approximently 21% of FindLaw's Web traffic is in the lawyer directory (lawyers.findlaw.com 13% + pview.findlaw.com 8%).

FindLaw was started by lawyer, and former FindLaw President Stacy Stern, lawyer, former Stanford Ph.D. student and current CEO of Justia, Tim Stanley, and former Stanford Ph.D. student and current CEO of NanoSolar, Martin Roscheisen.

FindLaw was ranked 978 by Alexa in December of 2003.
